Job summary

Chenega MIOS (Cyberstar, LLC) seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide expert cybersecurity engineering support for RMF/CSRMC programs and for A&A across DoD/IC networks.

On-site in Reston, VA, you will lead security engineering efforts, develop documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain a robust security posture in a high-tempo environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT/cybersecurity experience, with 6+ years supporting IC/DoD cybersecurity.
• DoD 8140 IASAE Level II certification: CISSP, CASP+, or CSSLP (current).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; CI Poly highly preferred.
• State driver’s license and successful background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF/CSRMC A&A activities for systems on unclassified and TS/SCI domains.
• Develop, review, and maintain SSPs, risk assessments, and accreditation packages.
• Conduct security control assessments, STE/CTE, vulnerability scanning, and POA&Ms.
• Design and integrate hardware, OS, software, and network security solutions.
• Support continuous monitoring, metrics reporting, and audits.
