Job summary

Abacus Technology is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to ensure system and application deliverables meet cyber security policies for the TAAS program at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include coordinating security implementations, supporting A&A and COMSEC, and designing IA/cybersecurity architectures. A TS clearance and US citizenship are required; Master’s degree and CISSP/CISM/GSLC/CCISO certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in cyber security or information assurance including cryptographic engineering architecture, requirements determination, development, and implementation.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, GSLC, or CCISO.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system security implementation for development or modification of systems.
• Provide SME to acquisitions and security documentation per DODI 8500.01 Cybersecurity.
• Assist in system A&A and COMSEC Certification.
• Assist with design, development, implementation, integration of IA/cybersecurity and cryptographic architecture.
• Serve as PMO expert of system security implementation on assigned systems.
• Conduct technical and nontechnical reviews and observe audits to support development and test efforts.
