Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Analyst / ISSE in Chantilly, VA to support a mission-critical network infrastructure. The role involves data collection for analysis, maintaining accreditation, and developing security documentation for a suite of customer products.

The candidate should be familiar with RMF processes, NIST standards, and tools like Nessus, Rapid7, Splunk, and Xacta, and possess strong collaboration skills across technical teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to start.
• 12 years experience with Bachelor's, 10 with Master's, 8 with PhD, or 16 with High School diploma.
• Experience reviewing technical security assessments of computing environments.
• Experience implementing RMF and supporting certification and accreditation artifacts.
• Experience supporting the A&A process for system accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of systems and networks to identify deviations from policies.
• Support certification and accreditation activities, risk management, and audits.
• Prepare and update System Security Plans and POA&Ms; document test results.
• Collaborate with government authorities and multiple teams across technical levels.
• Maintain awareness of RMF, NIST SP 800-53 rev4, NSM-8, and ZTA concepts.
