Cybersecurity Jobs in Reston, VA is seeking a Senior Computer Scientist (ISSE) to serve as a primary cybersecurity authority for UMM tools and CI/HUMINT data-management systems across the system lifecycle. You will embed security controls into software design, perform security assessments, risk analyses, and support ATO efforts.

The role requires deep knowledge of RMF, NIST, DoD, and DIA frameworks, and the ability to coordinate cross-domain data transfers with tool administrators.

Qualifications

• Extensive RMF and ATO experience.
• Experience with risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Knowledge of NIST, DoD, DIA standards and IC policies.
• Experience securing intelligence systems and data-management environments.

Responsabilités

• Ensure UMM tools and data-management systems meet security requirements.
• Embed security controls into software development, deployment, and sustainment.
• Perform security assessments, risk analyses, and vulnerability assessments.
• Support ATO efforts with security documentation and coordination for certification/accreditation.
• Define and coordinate security requirements for cross-domain data transfers.
• Support secure data-sharing and system access requirements.
• Advise on secure coding practices to software engineers.
• Maintain security controls during system sustainment.
