Job summary

Riverside Research seeks a full-time Senior ISR & Unit-level SME to support the US Space Force in Colorado Springs, CO. The role spans weapon system integration, unit stand-up, and development of training programs, with emphasis on planning, doctrine, and cross‑agency coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a TS/SCI clearance, 12+ years in the IC, and a strong track record in C2ISR, JPP/DOTMLPF, and MDMP, plus excellent communication and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, math, business, finance, history, or related fields.
• 12 years of intelligence community experience.
• Experience with USSF organizations, mission, and roles; familiarity with Delta 7.
• Experience planning and implementing ISR-T targeting activities at Delta/Wing or above.
• Familiarity with JPP; DOTMLPF and MDMP.
• Experience working in collaborative teams with senior decision-makers.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Weapon System Integration & Strategic Planning: assist with strategic planning and C2ISR integration across USSF and DoD.
• Participate in weapon system team activities to integrate sensor capabilities and data feeds into Joint Force architectures.
• Research operational issues, draft white papers, briefings, and present recommendations.
• Unit Stand-Up & Force Generation: provide SME guidance on basing, facility planning, manning, and test plans for new units.
• Lead development of unit training programs including IQT and MQT, and create Job Qualification Standards.
• Operational Doctrine Development: draft CONOPs and CONEMP for C2ISR and targeting operations.
• Coordinate with higher HQ to ensure integration of unit capabilities into Joint Force.
