Job summary

The College of American Pathologists (CAP) seeks a Senior Manager, IS Program Management to lead the program and project management function across IS. You will identify efficiency opportunities, assess risks, dependencies, and deliver capabilities to ensure successful program delivery within an enterprise context.

You will join a leadership team focused on improving service availability, aligning IT with business goals, and delivering reliable systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business, or proven equivalent.
Ten years of information technology experience.
At least five years of project management experience.
Working knowledge and deep understanding of healthcare and laboratory medicine.
PMP certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
Ability to lead without authority; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee program and project management across IS portfolio and ensure standards.
Develop and maintain system processes and procedures.
Lead a matrixed team and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Manage budgets, resources, and schedules for programs and projects.
Escalate risks to senior management and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Coordinate with Director and program steering committees to align on strategy.
