Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company in Greensboro, NC is seeking an Irrigation Service Technician to repair and maintain irrigation systems for commercial and residential customers. This hands-on role combines technical troubleshooting with planning, administrative, and regulatory duties to ensure systems perform efficiently.

Responsibilities include installation support, diagnostics of irrigation controllers, safe operation of trenchers and other equipment, and daily coordination of workloads.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with irrigation tools, pipe cutting, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Safe driving of company-owned vehicles (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members.

Responsibilities

• Repair irrigation systems to ensure proper performance and install new systems as needed.
• Diagnose irrigation controllers using electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Safely operate construction equipment such as trenchers, excavators, and skid loaders.
• Load/unload tools and materials, and help with on-site tasks as needed.
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads, plan equipment and materials, and coordinate with team.
