Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company is seeking an Irrigation Service Technician to repair and maintain irrigation systems for commercial and residential landscape customers. This hands-on role combines troubleshooting with planning and administrative tasks to ensure systems perform properly and efficiently.

You will diagnose controllers, operate equipment, manage daily workloads and materials, and collaborate with managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must have valid NC Driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must comply with Bland’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair irrigation systems to ensure proper performance and perform new installations as needed.
• Diagnose and repair irrigation controllers; utilize electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Safely operate construction equipment such as trenchers, tampers, excavators, skid loaders, and boring equipment.
• Load and unload heavy equipment and tools; handle materials safely.
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads; plan, coordinate, and collect necessary equipment and materials.
