Job summary

Juniper is hiring an Irrigation Technician in Raleigh, NC to maintain and repair commercial irrigation systems across our landscape properties. You will troubleshoot, operate timers, and perform routine inspections while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of irrigation experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read site maps; knowledge of two-wire systems and safety practices is required, with Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience with installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to clear MVR.
• Proficient with conventional and two-wire irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of irrigation equipment (hand and power tools).
• Spanish a plus.
• Must read irrigation site maps and legends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Certifications/licenses needed to perform work in local market.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including replacing valves, fan belts, switches, and contacts.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems.
• Turns irrigation systems on and off as designated.
• Repairs and replaces hoses, pipes, and sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Replaces or repairs irrigation valves.
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines.
• Conducts and records detailed inspections of irrigation systems.
• Promotes safety and environmental practices; uses hand and power equipment.
