Qualifications

• Experience with special operations and operational planning.
• Experience assessing environments to identify irregular threats and partner-force capabilities.
• Experience integrating irregular warfare principles into planning processes.
• Experience developing courses of action employing unconventional approaches.
• Experience synchronizing information, cyber, psychological, or civil-military operations.
• Ability to fuse intelligence analysis into operational design.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Master’s degree and 10+ years with irregular warfare or Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years with irregular warfare.

Responsibilities

• Shape the integration of irregular warfare concepts across joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational planning efforts.
• Assess complex operational environments to identify irregular threats, partner‑force capabilities, and opportunities to create strategic advantage.
• Develop courses of action that apply unconventional, asymmetric, and information‑focused approaches.
• Synchronize activities across information, cyber, psychological, civil‑military, and influence operations.
• Collaborate with intelligence, operations, and interagency partners to fuse analytic insights into operational design.
• Advise commanders on the employment of irregular forces, surrogate elements, and partner‑nation assets.
• Plan activities that counter proxy forces, insurgents, and adversarial influence networks and organizations.
