Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Must have strong reading of structural drawings and trade math skills.
• Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out and perform all types of structural steel erection and fabrication.
• Work with foremen and crew to ensure safety and quality.
• Inspect work and address deficiencies to meet plans and specs.
• Lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain positive working relationships on crew and provide feedback as needed.
