Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Division IPT Lead for the Military Aircraft Group. Location flexibility includes East Aurora NY or Torrance CA, with onsite requirements and travel up to 25%.

The role leads across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain to deliver programs on time, within budget, and to spec. You will drive risk management, NPI support, and seamless transitions from development to production while partnering with customers and internal teams to ensure performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years aerospace/defense experience.
• 5+ years supporting complex product development programs.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams through influence.
• Experience across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain.
• Strong systems development and lifecycle program management.
• EVM, critical path, forecasting, risk and change management.
• Decisive, fast-paced execution capability.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide IPT leadership for development, production, and sustainment programs within the Military Aircraft Group.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet technical, schedule, budget, quality, and customer commitments.
• Drive alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of complex technical, production, and field-performance challenges.
• Identify, assess, and manage program risks, assumptions, and changes throughout the lifecycle.
• Support NPI efforts and transitions into low-rate and full-rate production.
• Apply program execution disciplines including EVM, critical path, forecasting, and risk management.
• Lead planning and performance activities including CEAC development, variance analysis, and recovery planning.
• Serve as primary technical interface with customers and build trusted relationships.
• Promote a One Moog Team culture focused on accountability and collaboration.
• Influence technology, product, and business strategies aligned with future needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Ten (10) or more years aerospace/defense experience

Five (5) or more years supporting complex product development programs

Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams through influence

Experience driving execution across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain

Strong understanding of systems development, production environments, and lifecycle program management

Experience with earned value management, critical path analysis, forecasting, risk management, and change management

Proven ability to make sound decisions and drive results in fast-paced environments

Ability to travel up to 25%
