Job summary

Nokia seeks a senior legal professional to lead the Technology Standards Legal & Compliance team, handling global IP transactions, licensing and monetization strategies. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Partnering, Licensing, Strategy and Commercial Management to drive Nokia’s standards initiatives and best practices.

The role emphasizes strategic advisory, governance development, and cross-functional training to enhance operational efficiency and protect Nokia’s IP assets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional hands-on legal working experience in technology, patent and IP licensing and transactions, cross-border transactions, M&A, governance and compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of intellectual property law with practical advice.
• Ability to coordinate across cross-functional stakeholders and execute strategy.
• Master’s degree in law.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-impact, specialist legal advice and hands-on support for complex IP transactions, M&A, licensing and other strategic initiatives.
• Provide strategic legal advice and business partner support to TS business, including its Partnering, Licensing, Strategy, Patenting and Commercial Management Teams.
• Develop and maintain policies, processes and governance relevant to TS operations, mitigating risks and improving efficiency.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders in your areas of responsibility.
