Job summary

RMantra Solutions in Kentucky is seeking an experienced IP telephony engineer to maintain a large, resilient voice and video infrastructure. You will configure Cisco/Juniper devices, troubleshoot networks, and document changes across WAN and data networks.

The role requires DoD 8750 IAT II or Security+ CE, and an active Secret clearance, with hands-on experience on CUCM, Cisco Unity, CUBE, and Oracle SBCs. A BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant work is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II or Security+ CE or equivalent.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Experience with Cisco, Avaya or Oracle voice platforms including CUCM, Unity, CUBE, SBC and Avaya Aura.
• Expertise in SIP signaling and call flows.
• Demonstrated advanced fault analysis to diagnose network problems for routing, switching, security and large-scale voice implementations.
• Familiarity with distributed firewall infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks to maintain a large, complex, resilient IP voice/video communications infrastructure.
• Manage, configure, troubleshoot and support voice, video and data networks; document diagramming and WAN principles.
• Perform system maintenance, support capacity planning, and document configuration changes.
• Configure and implement calling search spaces, route plans, partitions and device profiles.
• Configure Cisco or Juniper routing and switching devices; support distributed firewall infrastructure.
• Analyze and resolve remote site registration, signaling and media problems.
• Validate change requests and ensure accuracy; perform fault analysis of voice subscribers and call routing rules.
