Innova Solutions in Melbourne, FL is seeking an IP Engineer to design, engineer, and implement scalable IP/MPLS networks. You will provide Tier 3 support and collaborate with a team of 6–7 engineers to resolve critical backbone issues.

The role emphasizes reliability, performance, and security, with opportunities to grow into lead or senior roles while contributing to documentation and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• BS in Networking/IT/EE/Telecom/CS or equivalent 4-year degree.
• 8+ years hands-on network engineering experience with IP networks.
• 6+ years designing IP/MPLS networks and architectures.
• Strong IP configuration and troubleshooting with BGP/OSPF/ISIS/PIM/EIGRP/HSRP/VPLS/VRFs/L3VPN/Ethernet.
• Experience creating IP addressing plans and network designs.
• Advanced technical documentation and writing skills.
• Exposure to SD-WAN technologies.
• Ability to work in Fujitsu environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 support for IP backbone and routing issues.
• Design, engineer, and implement scalable network solutions.
• Collaborate with a team of 6-7 network engineers.
• Act as escalation point for complex incidents and outages.
• Develop and maintain network docs, diagrams, and procedures.
• Create training materials for engineering and NOC teams.
• Ensure designs meet reliability, performance, and security standards.
• Support ongoing optimization, upgrades, and architectural improvements.
• Participate in project planning and cross-team coordination.
