Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical IP/MPLS and security infrastructures. You will lead network architecture, implement complex configurations, and manage security across enterprise and service-provider environments.

Key focus areas include routing, MPLS technologies, Nokia hardware, and network automation. The role demands strong collaboration, documentation, and hands-on expertise to ensure high availability

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' hands-on experience with IP/MPLS networking.
• Deep expertise in IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP routing.
• Experience with MPLS-TE, MPLS-TP, SR.
• Hands-on with Nokia core devices and NSP environments.
• Strong knowledge of EVPN/L2VPN/L3VPN and QoS.
• Security-focused network design and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support IP/MPLS networks for high availability.
• Configure and troubleshoot IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP.
• Deploy MPLS technologies including SR and TE/TP.
• Administer Nokia NSP environments and Nokia devices.
• Configure Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama.
• Monitor performance, isolate faults, and perform RCA.
• Create HLDs/LLDs and operational procedures.
• Collaborate across teams on upgrades, migrations, and IaC projects.
