Speria is seeking a Senior IoT Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve our software platform. You will lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable solutions across web, mobile, APIs, and IoT integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET stack.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience designing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience developing REST APIs and distributed architectures.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, patterns, testing, performance, and best practices.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational data modeling.
• Experience with asynchronous processing, event-driven systems, and messaging (e.g., NServiceBus).
• Experience operating production systems at scale.
• Experience with IoT platforms, telemetry, and connected devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile apps, APIs, and internal tools.
• Build solutions for connected devices, telemetry processing, real-time workflows, analytics, and notifications.
• Own the design and evolution of core platform components and services.
• Lead architectural decisions to improve scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Support, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality customer solutions.
• Design and implement cloud-native apps and services on Microsoft Azure.
• Improve platform performance through observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive improvements.
• Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Participate in production support activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Lead complex initiatives spanning multiple systems and teams; mentor engineers.
