Acuity Inc. invites a Senior Software Engineer to own services end to end for a cloud-connected refrigeration platform.

You will work across IoT, device networking, edge connectivity, distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines to enable monitoring and control of thousands of devices in the field. You will shape architecture, drive technical direction, ensure security and reliability, and collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to deliver scalable, robust software that performs in harsh

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in web development with Linux administration.
• Linux: Bash, file permissions, services, monitoring, logs, SSH.
• Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, React.js or similar.
• REST APIs, auth, session management, API integration.
• Proficiency in Go, C/C++, Python, Java.
• Strong data structures, debugging, learning new tech.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and services.
• Build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and web applications.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, networking, and system-level issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Implement secure backend services supporting authentication, authorization, and session management.
• Design APIs that enable seamless integration between frontend, backend, and third-party systems.
• Optimize system performance through caching and efficient API design.
• Deploy and support applications in Linux-based environments.
• Monitor system performance and analyze application and system logs.
• Diagnose network, connectivity, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to improve system reliability and scalability.
