Job summary

Qualcomm is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the IOT HW design team in San Diego. This role will focus on designing mechanical IOT platforms and requires an individual with strong expertise in 3D CAD tools, particularly CREO.

The ideal candidate should possess a BSME or equivalent and have significant experience in mechanical engineering, including knowledge of thermal analysis and design for manufacturability. Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• 5+ years of 3D solid modelling design tools experience.
• Experience with tolerance stack analysis of complex assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical IOT product FFA platforms.
• Own detailed mechanical design, including 3D CAD models.
• Coordinate and source prototype and production components.
