Job summary

Current Lighting is seeking a Sr Software Manager for Enterprise and Mobile Applications to lead our cloud-connected IoT platform. This on-site role in Round Rock, TX will drive web and mobile product development and coordinate cross-functional teams across locations.

You will shape epics, user stories, and deployment strategies while ensuring security, scalability, and performance of our IoT solutions. This role requires strong leadership, architectural thinking, and hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or an Engineering related discipline.
• 5+ years hands-on software development experience with web-based applications.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with back-end technologies – C#.NET, Java, etc.
• 3+ years experience developing for the Linux/Ubuntu platform.
• 3+ years experience deploying to the cloud.

• Lead and manage geographically dispersed software development team.
• Lead the development and support of scalable enterprise and cloud applications.
• Lead development of high-performing and reliable web and mobile applications.
• Translate product marketing requirements into producible epics and user stories.
• Drive performance and efficiency by fostering collaborative teams and modern development practices.
• Remove technical roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery across teams.
• Research and adapt to new technologies for future product enhancements.
