Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Mobile UI (iOS) Consultant to deliver high-quality iOS client solutions aligned with product strategy. You will collaborate across engineering, UX/UI, QA, and product to create engaging user experiences on Swift-based apps.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years in software engineering, 5+ years building iOS apps, and strong Swift expertise, with a track record mentoring others and participating in agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply).
• 5+ years of experience building iOS applications.
• 5+ years of experience with Swift.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles.
• Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicity.
• Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies, contributing to ensure that all team commitments are delivered on time and of the highest quality.
• Be an active advocate of the mobile platform through both internal and external developer communities.
• Remain an active learner in all technologies related to mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, 3rd party libraries, etc.).
• Mentor junior to mid-level members of the team.
