Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer – Mobile to design, develop, and implement native iOS solutions for enterprise teams, shaping the mobile strategy for CVS Health Digital. You will work on high-visibility projects, ensuring scalable, high-quality code and collaboration across functional teams.

The role emphasizes architecture design, code reviews, and mentoring while leveraging Swift and AI tools to innovate.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in software development life cycle.
3+ years of experience in design / development or implementation of native iOS frameworks and/or features.
3+ years of experience in native mobile based applications / platforms - testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
3+ years of experience in Swift language.
At least 1 year of experience utilizing AI tools, such as Claude.

Responsibilities

Design and implement efficient and scalable native iOS solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.
Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions, collaborating with senior engineers.
Provide input on technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability considerations.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
Communicate with team members to ensure alignment, share technical insights, and assist decision-making.
Work with other developers to implement complex features and deliver high-quality code.
Mentor junior developers to grow technical skills and professionalism.
