Overview
We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to help evolve a newly launched mobile application into a more advanced, feature-rich product. This role is highly hands‑on and will play a key part in expanding the app’s capabilities, performance, and user experience as it scales to compete with best‑in‑class consumer platforms.
You’ll spend most of your time coding, while also supporting and mentoring junior and mid‑level developers. This is an ideal role for an experienced iOS engineer who values clean architecture, modern Swift development, and building high‑quality consumer applications.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Write high‑quality, production‑ready native iOS code using Swift and SwiftUI
- Enhance a newly released app by adding news‑driven and content‑rich features
- Expand the application to support iPad
- Implement and integrate analytics, advertising platforms, and APIs
- Collaborate closely with Product to build and iterate on new features
- Help transition the app from a basic professional release to a more advanced, scalable state
- Apply MVVM architecture and modern iOS best practices
- Participate in code reviews and help guide junior and mid‑level developers
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and UI testing
- Contribute to performance, accuracy, and delivery speed—prioritizing both correctness and efficiency
Must‑Have Qualifications
Top 3 Requirements
- Strong experience with native iOS development
- Hands‑on expertise with SwiftUI (all development is done in Swift)
- Solid understanding and real‑world use of MVVM architecture
Additional Must‑Haves
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience (more is welcome; no upper limit)
- Experience with modern Swift Package Manager for API and dependency integration
- Familiarity with standard iOS UI testing frameworks and unit testing
- Experience with either SwiftUI or modern Swift (Objective‑C backgrounds are acceptable if paired with current Swift experience)
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately—balancing speed with high‑quality execution
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Prior mentorship or informal leadership experience
- Background working on content‑heavy or subscription‑based apps
