Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Mobile & Full Stack in a hybrid Dallas engagement. You will own end-to-end delivery for iOS apps and backend services, shaping architecture, performance and production stability.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional efforts, driving API contracts, releases, and on-call support. Strong expertise in Swift, Java, and Kotlin is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with production system ownership.
• Expertise in iOS/mobile or backend with knowledge across both.
• Experience supporting live production apps at scale.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues under pressure.
• Experience with large/legacy codebases.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions across iOS frontend and backend services.
• Design and deliver features emphasizing performance, usability, and reliability.
• Own production stability including crash reduction and performance tuning.
• Drive root cause analysis for high-severity incidents.
• Collaborate to ensure robust API contracts and seamless integration.
• Manage release processes including mobile deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide L3 escalation support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
