Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with strong iOS and Scala backend expertise for a hybrid role open in Atlanta, NYC, Dallas, Chicago and Nashville. You will design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade mobile applications and backend services across the full stack.

The role requires hands-on experience in mobile development, APIs, databases, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support, with collaboration across global teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in iOS development using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Combine, Core Data, URLSession, Push Notifications, and Async/Await.
• Backend development using Scala, Play Framework, Akka, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, SQL, and Slick/JDBC.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Git, and Datadog.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and production support.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise iOS applications.
• Build and support Scala-based APIs and microservices.
• Manage deployments, releases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot issues across mobile, backend, database, and infrastructure layers.
