Job summary

DoorDash is hiring Senior iOS Engineers to work on a massively-used app and mobile platform. You will join hybrid teams, contribute to feature development, and help scale our mobile architecture while maintaining high standards. The role reports to an Engineering Manager and involves in-office time.

You will tackle real-time data transfer, API work, and continuous refactoring, aiming to deliver high-quality mobile experiences for Dashers, merchants, and consumers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Expert at Swift and iOS SDK.
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and Cocoapods.
• Systems and OOP knowledge.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Build exciting features within our engineering teams.
• Improve the code base through refactoring and best practices.
• Solve real-time data transfer and synchronization challenges.
• Extend and implement APIs.
• Implement unit tests to ensure quality.
• Stay up-to-date with iOS development standards.
