Job summary

DoorDash is seeking Android Engineers to build and maintain a large-scale, global mobile app used by millions. The role is hybrid with some in-office time, reporting to an Engineering Manager.

You will develop features, improve code quality, and tackle real-time data challenges while expanding our API capabilities. The candidate should have a CS degree (or equivalent), 2+ years of industry experience, and deep expertise in Android development, testing, and OOP.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing within the Android SDK in a product environment.
• Strong systems and object-oriented programming knowledge.
• Expertise with Android testing best practices and frameworks.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Build exciting features within our engineering teams.
• Refactor codebase to improve quality and maintainability.
• Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronization problems.
