Job summary

Reddit Consumer Engineering seeks an experienced iOS engineer to build and operate consumer-facing native apps at scale. You will own projects from definition through launch and ongoing improvements, collaborating with product, design, data science, ML, backend, and platform teams to translate capabilities into intuitive experiences.

Qualifications

• Professional experience developing native iOS applications with Swift and strong iOS framework knowledge.
• Ability to write readable, testable code with emphasis on reliability and maintainability.
• Experience designing mobile systems, evaluating tradeoffs, and building scalable features.
• Familiarity with experimentation, instrumentation, and metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve user-facing iOS experiences to help users discover, consume, create, and engage with content.
• Lead projects through full development lifecycle from definition to launch and improvement.
• Partner with product, design, data science, ML, backend, and platform teams to deliver measurable impact.
