Job summary

ŌURA is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our remote US team. You will design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS apps with Swift, UIKit, and modern architectures, collaborating with cross-functional squads across the US and EU.

With 5+ years of experience, you will drive code quality, participate in reviews, mentor peers, and help deliver scalable features for health, wellness, and wearables. Hybrid options exist in SF/SD as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional iOS development shipping apps.
• Proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and modern iOS architectures (MVVM, MVC, TCA, VIPER).
• Experience collaborating on large shared codebases with Git workflows.
• Focus on quality with unit tests and manual testing.
• Strong CS fundamentals and design patterns.
• Ability to design solutions, own projects, and mentor others.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS code for roadmap features.
• Collaborate with PMs and designers to push projects forward.
• Work with backend, firmware, data science, and QA to deliver complex features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to platform improvements.
• Mentor other engineers and help improve productivity.
