Ford Motor Company is seeking a senior iOS Software Engineer to drive the iOS app in a lean, agile environment. You will work closely with product owners, engineers and designers to release shippable software frequently.

Responsibilities include developing the iOS app for millions of users, reviewing designs, evaluating new technologies, and documenting implementation details while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years hands-on software engineering experience in native iOS Application Development.
• 5+ years experience in Swift and the iOS app development ecosystem
• 3+ years mobile frontend application architecture, including modular design, state management, and navigation strategies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS app software from conception to production for millions of drivers and vehicles worldwide.
• Review, evaluate and provide feedback on product designs and architectures with a software engineering focus.
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging products and technologies.
• Write and contribute to high-quality documentation for software engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other technical experts.
