Job summary

Agility Partners is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join one of the country’s largest ecommerce and retail mobile apps. You will design, develop, and enhance customer-facing experiences used by millions of users.

You will partner with Product, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and fellow Mobile Engineers to build features that improve shopping, product discovery, order management, and engagement within the digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing native iOS applications with Swift.
• Strong knowledge of the iOS SDK and modern development practices.
• Experience building customer-facing features within large-scale mobile apps.
• Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture patterns.
• Ability to write scalable, maintainable and testable code.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience participating in code reviews and technical design sessions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy native iOS features using Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Build intuitive, scalable mobile experiences that enhance the customer journey.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate requirements into solutions.
• Develop reusable UI components and scalable architectures.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services for seamless experiences.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and responsiveness of apps.
• Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and design sessions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing feature enhancements.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and mobile standards.
• Coordinate with QA and release teams for quality deployments.
