Harmonic is seeking a founding iOS engineer to build and ship their first iOS app. This role will involve end-to-end development, collaborating with Product and Design to create exceptional user experiences, and establishing best practices for the mobile team.

The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in iOS application development, possess a strong design intuition, and be based in NYC, working in the office 3 days a week. This position offers a competitive salary between $180k to $220k, along with equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and maintaining user-facing iOS applications.
• Demonstrated history of creating high-quality user-focused iOS experiences.
• Experienced with mobile architecture, patterns, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of Harmonic's first iOS app.
• Partner with Product and Design leads to craft interactive experiences.
• Mentor future hires and drive technical decisions.
• Set up testing strategies and modular architecture for the mobile team.
