You’ll own end-to-end development and ensure a polished mobile experience. You will partner with Product and Design to craft AI-native chat experiences, define mobile patterns, and mentor future hires while shaping long-term mobile strategy for Harmonic's discovery platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and maintaining user-facing iOS applications with real production usage.
• Clear product and design intuition, demonstrated by a history of creating user-focused iOS experiences with high craft and polish.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems and build real solutions without a pre-laid path.
• Customer obsession: building products for customers and improving their experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship the iOS app from scratch. Own end-to-end development from setup to shipping the initial product experience.
• Create exceptional product experiences. Partner with Product and Design to craft interactive experiences, leaning into AI-native chat UX.
• Drive technical decisions and mentor future hires. As founding engineer, set the bar for mobile at Harmonic long-term.
• Create scalable abstractions and foundations. Set up testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, modular architecture, and reusable components.
