Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer, iOS to join our mobile team. You will create and refine high-performance iOS apps, design, architect and implement Objective-C software powering camera experiences, and work with Design to refine UI.

You will evaluate tradeoffs, launch new features, review code, and apply AI tooling to ship scalable services while upholding security and production-quality code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience.
• 6+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience; or Master’s degree +5+ year; or PhD +2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine high performance mobile apps for iOS.
• Build stable, new features with smooth performance.
• Design, architect and implement Objective-C software powering Snapchat camera experiences.
• Conceptualize, develop, and launch new features.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs of every decision.
• Collaborate with Design to improve UI and infrastructure practices.
• Carry out code reviews to maintain quality.
• Use AI tools to design and ship scalable services with strong security and production-ready code.
