Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks an Investment professional to join the Investments Office. This role reports to the Senior Director or Director of Investments and supports the Public Equities, Hedge Funds/Fixed Income, and Private Markets verticals.

You will conduct fund manager due diligence, monitor portfolios, and help tailor asset allocations while ensuring adherence to the Investment Policy. Collaboration with consultants and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of investment management experience preferred.
• Allocator experience preferred (fund manager due diligence).
• Experience in nonprofit investment management space preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Fund manager due diligence.
• Monitors portfolio of investments and performance.
• Makes recommendations on manager sizing, portfolio construction and asset allocation.
• Partners with Investment Consultant and other vendors as needed.
• Reviews and ensures compliance with Investment Policy Statement.
• Ongoing internal reporting, including Investment Committee.
• Drives professional development and supports inclusive environment.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to MH policies.
• Serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
• Demonstrates commitment to caring for the community with compassionate experiences.
