Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Senior Investment Research, Due Diligence Analyst to lead qualitative research and due diligence for mutual funds, ETFs, and separately managed accounts. Qualifications

• Bachelors degree.
• Extensive experience in qualitative investment research, manager research, or investment due diligence involving separately managed accounts, mutual funds, and ETFs.
• Ability to evaluate investment teams, philosophy, process, portfolio construction, performance, risk, and organizational stability.
• Analytical thinking and decision making skills, with the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into well-supported investment conclusions.
• Communication and presentation skills demonstrated through research memos, presentations, committee materials, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and sound judgment when completing investment research and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and build collaborative relationships within a research environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Series 7 license or willingness to obtain the license within the first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment teams, philosophy, process, portfolio construction, performance, risk, and organizational stability.
• Develop well-supported conclusions and recommendations from qualitative and quantitative data.
