Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Senior Investment Research, Due Diligence Analyst to lead qualitative and quantitative research on mutual funds, ETFs, and separately managed accounts. You will evaluate teams, philosophy, risk and performance, and translate findings into clear conclusions for Schwab platforms and governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in qualitative investment research, manager research or due diligence for SMAs, mutual funds and ETFs.
• Ability to evaluate teams, philosophy, process, portfolio construction, performance and risk.
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making; synthesize quantitative & qualitative data.
• Clear communication of research, memos, presentations and committee materials.
• Detail-oriented with good judgment; manage multiple priorities with deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint; Series 7 license or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead primary research for assigned investment strategies and funds.
• Evaluate investment teams, philosophy, process, and organizational stability.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and governance committees on research.
• Support evolving investment needs and prioritize multiple research projects.
