Job summary

Citi in New York seeks a Senior VP Banker to lead capital raising and strategic advisory for large corporate clients in the Institutional Banking group.

You will manage financing transactions, guide due diligence, prepare equity or debt offerings, and collaborate with senior bankers on M&A and special situations. MBA or master’s degree preferred; 6–10 years’ experience; Series 7/63 preferred.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within Banking.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Business preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products, pertinent regulations and credit processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assume significant responsibility for project and transaction execution, new business development, and growth.
• Lead financing transactions and guide clients through capital raising, including due diligence and equity/debt offerings.
• Collaborate on M&A and special situations with clients and senior team members.
• Draft situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations; supervise analysts and associates.
