Job summary

Citi is seeking an Investment Banking Senior Analyst in New York to support the Institutional Banking team on fund-raising and advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. You will participate in live deals, organize financial data, and prepare proposals with senior team members.

The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, Series 79 and 63 licenses, and strong communication skills to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory officers on client transactions as the junior member of the Investment Banking team.
• Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans.
• Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Conduct economic/financial research.
• Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to industry and market trends.
• Build complex financial models for valuation purposes.
