Citi is seeking an Investment Banking Senior Associate to join the Media & Communications team within Institutional Banking in New York. You will advise clients on strategic transactions, raise capital, and execute complex deals that shape Citi's growth.

The role emphasizes leading end-to-end mandates, developing financial analyses, and mentoring junior analysts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of investment banking, capital markets, or related advisory experience.
• Proven ability to evaluate corporate transactions and execute M&A or capital raising mandates.
• Proven track record of building financial analyses, valuation models, and market assessments.
• Clear and concise communicator in written and client facing settings.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate across teams.
• Active Series 79 and Series 63 licenses or eligibility to obtain them.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Advise Media & Communications clients on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises as strategic intermediary.
• Execute mandates end-to-end, coordinating with Institutional Banking for high-quality outcomes.
• Evaluate transaction structures and strategic options to support client decisions.
• Develop and present financial analyses including valuation models and market comps.
• Build client relationships and support business development with sector research.
• Mentor junior analysts with guidance and feedback on work product.
