Job description

The DM team within WAM is seeking a highly motivated individual with an interest in:

  1. Joining a new platform that will invest in select Developed Markets,
  2. Contributing to developing the culture, best practices, and track record of DM efforts from the ground up,
  3. Making a measurable impact on women’s empowerment and equity across various Developed Markets through investments and involvement with investee companies and their ecosystems, while delivering market returns to investors.

As a Sr. Associate, you will work with both the DM and WAM teams on key aspects of the investment process, including deal evaluation, diligence, portfolio management, and impact monitoring support.

This is a long-term career role offering the opportunity to be involved in several critical aspects of the investment process.

About WWB Asset Management (WAM)

Headquartered in New York City, WAM is a mission-driven impact investor seeking market returns, investing in fast-growing businesses that promote women’s economic empowerment and equity.

WAM manages two EM private investment funds. Its DM team is a new initiative focusing on Growth Equity investments in Developed Markets.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Deal evaluation, diligence, and investment underwriting support
    • Screen incoming deal flow and present recommendations during weekly meetings
    • Lead financial modeling and business analysis
    • Manage due diligence processes
    • Support senior team members in the investment process
  • Portfolio and impact management support
    • Participate in portfolio management and monitoring, including discussions with investee companies and boards
    • Coordinate impact measurement and reporting
  • Investment Committee support
    • Assist in preparing IC memos and presentations
    • Present sections of IC memos confidently over time
Qualifications
  • MBA with 5-7 years of experience in private equity (VC, Growth, Control), M&A advisory, investment banking, strategy consulting, or related fields
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling, and recommendation writing skills
  • High responsibility, accountability, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a long-term vision, eager to build from the ground up
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to quickly digest information, identify key issues, and apply strategic thinking

  • Familiarize with policies and procedures
  • Begin supporting deal evaluation and diligence
