The Maryland State Retirement Agency in Baltimore seeks a Senior Investment Analyst II to lead investment research and design quantitative strategies for the Public Equity Portfolio.

You will develop internal research and dashboards to monitor exposures, support manager selection, and automate processes. Strong quantitative skills and coding ability are essential; experience with eVestment, Aladdin, Bloomberg, and FactSet is valued.

Qualifications

• Education: Four-year degree from an accredited college/university in quantitative discipline.
• Experience: Three years of relevant investments or finance experience.
• Substitution: Four years of additional relevant investments/finance experience may replace the education requirement.
• Master’s degrees, CFA, CPA count for two years; CAIA counts for one year; PhD counts for four years.

Responsabilités

• Lead factor research and develop quantitative models for investment strategies.
• Onboard alternative datasets and integrate with internal factors.
• Assist in manager selection and monitoring of investments for the Public Equity Portfolio.
• Develop dashboards and tools to monitor portfolio exposures and performance.
• Collaborate with Legal and external providers on contracts and data access.
• Provide documentation for policies and new initiatives.
