Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology seeks a senior professional to provide advanced oversight of investment and endowment operations, combining portfolio analysis and investment research with financial reporting and compliance.

You will work within the Controller’s Office to ensure accurate management of investment activities and donor-restricted funds in alignment with institutional objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of accounting, finance, budgeting practices and compliance.
• Knowledge of capital markets, investment practices, regulations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Regularly reviews investment performance and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Conducts research on investment opportunities and market conditions.
• Develops and implements investment strategies evaluating asset classes and market trends.
• Manages financial records for all investment activities with donor compliance and regulations.
• Prepares and reconciles financial statements and reports with detailed documentation.
• Engages with internal/external stakeholders providing reports on investments, fund allocations and endowments.
• Oversees administrative and accounting processes related to investments and ensures accuracy and audit readiness.
