Eliassen Group is seeking an Investment Accounting Senior Manager to lead the investment reporting team remotely. The role focuses on timely monthly and quarterly closes, US GAAP and US statutory reporting, and robust balance sheet reconciliations.

You will establish controls, drive process improvements, and coordinate with auditors and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting. This is a W2 hourly role with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with investment accounting under US GAAP and US statutory reporting.
• Proven leadership of month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles.
• Hands-on experience performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Background managing or supervising an accounting or reporting team.
• Strong proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the investment reporting team for monthly and quarterly closes.
• Prepare and review investment schedules under US GAAP and US statutory bases.
• Oversee and ensure completion of monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain reporting controls, timelines, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support reporting requirements.
• Drive process improvements and documentation for investment accounting and reporting.
