TRM Labs is seeking a Senior Data Researcher to take a topic from question to publishable piece. You will gather and pressure-test evidence, write it, and own the public narrative across investigations of illicit finance and crime.

You will leverage AI-heavy workflows and collaborate with multiple teams to publish data-backed research and shape TRM's insights for press and policymakers.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of research or data analysis with published writing.
• Led at least one high-impact investigation from evidence gathering to final piece.
• Strong AI tools usage for research, analysis and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Publish original data-backed investigative research on high-priority threats.
• Use AI-heavy workflows to research, analyze data, stress-test methods and draft pieces.
• Lead research that connects blockchain intelligence with open-source and regulatory data.
• Turn findings into training content for investigators and compliance teams.
