Job summary

Navia Energy is seeking an Inverter Control Board Engineer in Los Angeles (US) or Bangalore (India) to drive hardware design, firmware development, and rigorous testing of high‑voltage DC/AC converters for grid and off‑grid applications.

You will implement control algorithms, perform hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing, and ensure compliance with performance specs while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and documenting design processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing inverter control boards for Solar, EV/UPS industries.
• Strong background in control systems, power electronics, and hardware design; familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink and HIL testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop inverter control system hardware and firmware.
• Develop control algorithms and implement/test them using simulation and HIL setups.
• Test and validate inverter control boards for standards and performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Create design specifications, test plans, and user manuals; support manufacturing and system integration.
