Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking an Inventory Analyst to manage and analyze levels to maximize fill rate and service levels. You will mentor junior team members and partner with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on use of SAP and analytics to drive inventory strategies, EOQ, min/max, and safety stock while communicating impact of changes and driving process improvements across the network.

Qualifications

BS/BA in a related discipline with 5–8 years of experience.
MS/MA with 3–5 years of related experience.
Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

Leverages SAP and other systems to maintain excellent customer service while managing inventory.
Partner with Inventory Analytics and Merchandising to address fill rate issues.
Utilizes daily analytics and exception reports for key metrics.
Develops SKU transitions and seasonal positioning strategies.
Aligns inventory controls (EOQ, min/max, safety stock, velocity rankings) with business goals.
Analyzes and communicates the impact of proposed changes.
Manages supplier relations to improve fill rate, lead times, and returns.
Drives process improvements across the business network.
Develops best practices to guide junior associates.
