Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Inventory Management and Property Control Senior staff member in Falls Church, VA to oversee inventories and accountability for property and equipment in a government-contract setting. This role requires coordinating with senior logistics staff to ensure adherence to priorities and audit readiness.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, processing inventory requests, maintaining records, and ensuring auditable financial statements.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
• Eight years of professional experience in a similar or related field.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift certification within 30 days of commencing work and every 24 months as required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other contractor personnel in task completion.
• Coordinate with the Senior Logistics Staff Officer to align with Office of Logistics priorities.
• Process routine inventory requests by validating receipt of goods against requirements.
• Provide status updates to designated staff and Office of Logistics focal points.
• Update electronic records with status/location of items.
• Issue and maintain hand-receipts.
• Process all types of electronic property/equipment transactions.
• Scan/create electronic records for auditable financial statements.
• Assist in property inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain vehicle and telecommunication inventories as needed.
• Prepare usage charts for reporting to GSA.
• Distribute parking permits and E-ZPass devices.
• Issue vehicles for short-term use and track keys.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
