Job summary

Cardinal Health in Roanoke, TX seeks an experienced Inventory Management leader to direct the site’s inventory planning, cycle counts, and profiling portfolio while coordinating with warehouse operations.

You will oversee teams, influence demand planning, and ensure optimal stocking levels and service while complying with DSCSA requirements. A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in inventory management or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the site's Inventory Management team by setting short- and long-term objectives, directing tasks for teams and professionals, and providing guidance on complex issues.
• Provides input into demand planning and forecasting based on inventory planning and supplier relations.
• Evaluates impact of changes in standard operating procedures.
• Coordinates with Managers, Warehouse Operations and other site leaders to modify operations to meet new requirements and customer commitments.
• Evaluates performance of teams and direct reports, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
• Directs regular cycle counts and perpetual trimester inventories to ensure high inventory accuracy and resolve customer issues.
• Manages profiling portfolio, reverse logistics of unsalable products, DSCSA exceptions, customer service, recalls, receiving exceptions, and bin prep team.
• Serves as security POC for the site, including monthly security tests and drills.
