Job summary

Global Edge is seeking an Inventory Shipping Clerk IV for our client in the Downstream Industry, based in Carlsbad, CA. You will perform inventory counts, SAP entry of movements, and purchase requisition creation to support efficient operations.

The role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and strict adherence to EH&S, SOX and COPAS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Materials Management.
• Experience with SAP and the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong analytical, computer (MS Office suite), and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional working relationships.
• Ability to perform independently in both an office and field environment.
• Flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-task, customer service environment.
• Good organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete physical inventory counts to ensure compliance and inventory accuracy.
• SAP entry of all in and outbound movements for Carlsbad yard and warehouse.
• Purchase requisition creation for both purchases and subcontracting.
• Work closely with SCM buyers and operations regarding on hand inventory.
• Assist with booking freight and other logistics.
• Understand and apply all company environmental, health and safety policies and principles.
• Maintain compliance with proper regulatory and guidelines: SOX, COPAS etc.
